In addition to sports and activities, The Villages love to have festivals. The local roads are converted to golf cart parking lots because so many villagers arrive in their golf carts.
We attended a St. Patrick’s Day festival at Sumter Landing Town Square and a parade in Spanish Springs Town Square a few days later. We also found a restaurant that offered a corned beef and cabbage dinner for St. Patrick’s Day.
At first glance, this dog appears to be driving his little golf cart. One of the spectators asked the dog for his driver’s license.
